About Vortex
We take the undercurrent, so the collaboration can flow
Vortex Contracting makes contracts simple and keeps them under control, for the full term. Out of a conviction: fewer energy leaks in collaborations, and grip and ownership where they belong.
Article 1
Mission
Collaborations in the public realm leak energy. Time, money and good conversations disappear into ambiguity and after-the-fact disputes. Vortex seals those leaks.
We want less waste of time, energy and money; more positive energy in collaborations; and a public realm that is managed in a socially responsible way.
We want parties to stand on solid legal ground from day one. Not hiring expensive lawyers afterwards to solve problems, but knowing from the start what applies. Ownership belongs where it belongs.
Article 2
Vision
Contract control is a craft, and an art. It takes overview, precision and the ability to keep a contract alive and current for years. That cannot be done with loose hours or loose software. It takes a system.
Not more contract managers, but fewer, with the right system. Once the undercurrent is secured, the contract manager can steer on substance and collaboration. The contract shifts from a pile of paper that is only consulted in a dispute to a living foundation that both parties use every day.
Long-term contracts deserve a secretariat that lasts as long as they do. People change, organisations change, the contract remains. Vortex is the constant.
Article 3
Our role
Vortex is the contract secretary of the collaboration: the neutral keeper of the contract and director of the process. We take the undercurrent. We secure, flag and facilitate.
Contract management, the substantive role, lies explicitly with the client and the contractor. We do not take over responsibility for it.
We tell you what you need to know, even when it is uncomfortable. If a contract is poorly drafted, if your own organisation falls short or if your legal position is weak, you will hear it.
Article 4
What we stand for
| Value | What it means |
|---|---|
| Pure | Clear, current service without noise. What we record matches the source. |
| Neutral | We keep the collaboration on track, not one party. |
| Honest | A poor contract, a weak spot or a legal risk: you will hear it. |
| Ownership | Responsibility lies where it belongs. We take the secretariat, you take contract management. |
| Proactive | We do not wait for a question or a meeting. We deliver unprompted. |
| Energy | Collaborations should give energy, not cost it. |
Article 5
How we work
Distance is our method. Whoever sits in the middle of a collaboration no longer sees the undercurrent. From a distance, we see what is really going on. You will not see us in meetings on substance; you will notice us in a better process flow.
No meeting culture. We deliver; we do not hold meetings for their own sake. Introductions take place online, in a fixed format.
The system carries the result, not one person. Process coordinators carry out the work within fixed frameworks, processes and formats. A second authorised operator, a processing log and a source register ensure continuity.
People and AI. AI supports reading, comparing and organising documents. Release is always in human hands.
